Windows freezing from inside

When funning your heater, make sure that the air vent is switched to outside air coming in and not on recirculate( RECIRC).
(RECIRC) will spread around all of your body humidity.

Should I keep my car AC or HEAT on recirculate?
Recirculation makes your cars a/c significantly more effective and efficient when cooling, but when heating increases humidity often causing the windows to fog up. It is recommended to never use recirculation below 66F (19C) as it will not remove enough humidity to keep windows from fogging.

does anyone else have this issue,

it has been pretty cold here, as low as -2 C

and I've been having a strange problem, or annoyance to be exact,

all the windows freeze from the inside. I had to scrape the ice/frost from the inside of the car!

I've never seen this on any other vehicle parked outside.

It indicates that moisture is inside the car and it freezes, dont know why though.
There could be a small leak somewhere allowing some moisture to build inside your passenger area.

Interesting... Im sure gonna take a look at It .

I dunno if its related or not, but every time i take my car out of the garage i have to roll down the window to manually tuck the rear view mirror (because the garage door is too narrow)

The thing is that the window rolls up wet after that, almost as if the inside pf the door was wet or the rubber was humid (bear in mind we are talking about a car completely dry as it is garaged)

It must be something about It i think

(Sorry for my engrish, i Hope u understood me)

The inside of the door is actually on the outside, it is a wet area. What is important there is that the drains are open on the bottom of the door, and that the seal behind the trim is intact and sealing.

Her car is a pos 96' Renault Megane in very bad condition, with rust and all. My car is a mint condition 06' bimmer, so its imposible that her car could be better in thermal isulation or anything else when compared to my car.

There must be something wrong with my car

Bet her car isn't garaged? The humidity in the garage is likely the same as in your car, it's not helping unless the garage is heated.

She doesnt always park her car in the garage, so sometimes it's garaged and sometimes not. Parking in this garage is a pita, so i cant blame her.
The garage is not heated btw

I never set it in recirculatioñ. But i honestly never use the a/c in december. I wanna avoid using the ac compressor if its not Hot outside. And most important of all, i dont wanna just dehumify the interior, i want to fix the problem from its root

Modern cars sometimes put the vent in recirc when you turn off the engine, another thing that's not helping. it helps keep rodents/bugs out I guess.

When you turn on the Defroster in the winter or summer time(on HOT or COLD) the defrost actually kicks-on the A/C compressor to dehumidify the interior(even though the A/C light doesn’t turn on). This works well especially on humid days…rainy days or even wet snowy days. But I agree with others. There is something not right in your HVAC system. It could be the damper, which opens up or shuts out the outside air.

Years ago, I tried some products that were designed for the inside of automobile windshield glass and bathroom mirrors to help from fogging.
I believe that one was a Rain-X product and the other was no-fog/anti-fog product for glass & mirrors however, both were similar.
Though there was no fogging, all that they did was cause the glass/mirrors to sweat terribly and water to run down which made for a complete mess.
