I saw this article this morning https://energybadboys.substack.com/p/harvard-study-finds-wind-turbines Apparently this study conducted by Harvard concluded that wind turbines actually cause more warming than they prevent. Further down in the article there are some interesting figures on the number of turbines and the costs required to complete the more ambitious build out of wind capacity in the US. It seems as if nuclear power would cost far less, not to mention consume far less real estate.

Are you referring to the study from 2018?

I certainly don't claim to have any expertise in the areas discussed in the article, but it doesn't pass the smell test as being balanced or unbiased. It specifically focuses on inverted conditions, while avoiding the topic of non-inverted (standard) atmospheric conditions. Inversion isn't rare, but it also isn't standard; so what is the net effect over time of the claimed inter-strata air mixing? The author seems to have accidentally forgotten to touch on that point. I wonder why that could be?
