Alright I was wrong. Thought it wasn't turning when I had it out, but it is.
I took the trigger group apart tonight and the sear spring has quite a bit of play where it's wound around the sear assembly. After putting it back together the slide is locking now and all appears well, but I'm guessing the spring shouldn't have that much play?
I found a new sear assembly for a little over 20 bucks. My other question.... Could keeping it chambered all the time cause damage to the sear spring? Just thinking about it because most people don't keep shotguns chambered, so maybe the spring isn't made for constant pressure?
