Hopefully you believe OJ should not have been sued bc he was duly judged.."not guilty". Why is he hated???

So in light of his cleared record..his only punishment would be that businesses (including the NFL) don't employ him. And that could have been done right?

I am glad you buy in the Justice System.

Actually, yes I do believe OJ should not have had to face a civil trial and lose all that money and all of his "stuff". If he is not guilty of the crime he should not have to face a law suit over it. I know that is how our system works but if you are innocent in a criminal trial you should not have to go through a civil trial as well IMHO. I also do not like how in a civil trial the burdens of proof are lower.

But as said it is our system and it is the best option we have. Not perfect but the best out there.

I would also wager if you faced charges for something and were found not guilty in a criminal trial you would feel having to then go through a civil trial as well would be grossly unjust. Especially since the burdens of proof are lower AND because it is impossible to find an impartial juror at that point( in a high profile case like the OJ trial anyway ). There wasn't anyone who could have served on OJ's civil trial who was impartial. he had no chance in that trial. Way too easy to "punish" someone in a civil trial.

He was not convicted because the "victim" was more interested in his money vs criminal proceedings. Don't blame the justice system. And bringing OJ in is laughable. Cutting two people's heads off vs slapping around a paper chasing woman is apples to oranges.

If the NFL shouldn't employ him, who should? Or should someone involved in a DV incident never be employed again by anyone? Like I referenced earlier, if you're mad at the NFL, would you also be mad at McDs? I'd rather he be employed to pay millions in taxes instead of receiving my money to support him.

If you're that concerned call the cable/sat company and cancel. List this as the reason. I no longer wanted to support the nonsense the big media companies was putting out there so I canceled. Money doesn't speak, it screams.

Huh?? How has he been punished. He has a clean record and can work anywhere he wants. Is that fair? Not to me its not.

The slime bag wasn't bright enough to restrain a female with 10% of his strength and less than half his weight..lol.
The four game suspension cost him millions of dollars. That sounds like punishment to me.

Go ahead and tell us what his current and future punishment should be. In detail.

Throw him out of the NFL for life.

OJ finally got what he deserved, as he was guilty and unfortunately slick lawyers got him off in the murder trial. He had to testify in the civil trial and he incriminated himself. If the same self incrimination and evidence was used in the murder trial he would have been found guilty there too. Karma is a you know what.

Fair enough you are consistant in your beliefs. I can respect that.

Its not laughable its the same principle which NHHEMI above understood.

OJ finally got what he deserved...did he? I think he should have been put in front of a firing squad, his two innocent victims died while he still walks the earth, even if it is in prison.

The look on that psychotic face of his is disgusting.

Death would have been too good for him ... I'd rather see him suffer as he's doing right now, before he goes to burns in eternity.

Anyone who thinks he's paid his debt for what he did (which is completely inexcusable) has a screw loose...there's no justice for anyone who did what he did and didn't do any jail time for it...

What's happening is you're getting into the class envy stuff. "Well this person doesn't deserve to be doing so and so making so and so..." I don't think you're a class envy guy. If you don't like the way the NFL does business then blame the NFL. Don't blame the individual.

Any woman beater who doesn't do jail time has not paid their debt to society...I don't care how many games they were suspended for...

I don't know what goes on with Ray Rice and his wife in their normal lives( although both have said they fight a lot and both throw punches and such )but re: the elevator incident his wife instigated the altercation by striking him 2X's, and then charging him as he backed away from her, before he laid a hand on her. Not sure I call that incident wife beating? I would have no problem with Rice suiting up again if he could still play and a team wanted to sign him. He has a right to make a living even if people think he is a bad person.

As far as Hardy goes I don't know much about what he is alleged to have done. Don't really care to be honest. I am sick to death of constantly hearing about this celebrity/athlete did this and that one did that. So tired of how they think they are better than others and waste what they have that others would kill for. I also get tired of how people hold them to impossible standards though. They are just people like you and me who screw up. They deserve no more attention and punishment than you or I nor do they deserve less.

All I do know is Hardy was not charged/found guilty of anything and thus he has nothing to be punished for. I would feel the same regardless of who it is be it a pro athlete, movie star, or a fast food worker. He served his suspension in the NFL under their policies so he has done what he has to so he can return to the field. People may not like him but he has the right to be employed and have a life.

I think I heard something about his wife recanting or saying she wouldn't cooperate which is why he didn't have to go to court and/or jail. Not sure if that is right or not? If so however then so be it. If he hurts her or kills her down the road it is on her and her alone. I am not wasting one second on a woman who stays with a man who hits her. Especially these women you know only stay with these "stars" for the cash.

My point is that I answered the question..why don't you acknowledge that? Would you like me to answer it again?

Antiqueshell will never respond. This is just one more baseless claim in a long line of baseless claims he makes.

If I could predict NFL scores as well as I can predict Antiqueshell's behavior, I'd be rich.
