yeesh! yeah the trunk might be even more important - I might get a cheapish liner for the trunk later!
registering at my mazda can get you some discounts from what I heard - I might do that, and play with the 2 mazda iphone apps too...
(I got the survey from the mazda corporate today)

Let me know how the apps work - I heard they had some glitches accepting VINs for the 2014 Mazda 6 but it might be resolved now...

No HID projector? Looks like time to visit DDMTUNING !!

What a sharp looking car? I am loving the color. Something different and very eye catching.

No! This is a car driven on public roads; none of that!

Those headlamps look like the work fine. I prefer a kink in the upper cutoff, but the spread of light *within* the beam pattern is much more important (which is why HIDs are a no-go, even in projectors).

Nice purchase.

I've always liked Mazda even the previous 6 models which were never given the respect they deserved because Mazda doesn't have the marketing power that Honda or Nissan does.

This latest 6 is the best ever, although I wish they would have kept it a bit smaller overall they had to give some leeway to the competitors.

If you look closely at the interior of this model you can tell they clinic'd the mid to late 90s Audi 4 and 6 which may have been some of the best interiors ever made to date in any sedan. Look closely at that seating material shown here and then look at what Audi used in the 90s. Nothing wrong with copying something if it is the best ever. If it works best use it.

Mazda today = Honda of the late 80s -90s, ONLY better!

How much will tires cost when the time comes?

What do you mean by the "liability of the MT"? Op's car is automatic, but even if it was standard, what extra liability is there?

I agree with the touch screen issue, but in case of this car the screen size is actually quite small when compared to the competition, so it may be cheaper to replace if it goes. Also, that screen doesn't control everyday stuff like HVAC, vent positions, heated seats, traction control etc. There are still old fashioned buttons/knobs to control that stuff.

That's what happens when I spend way too many hours working... I meant AT. And ATs to me are inherently unreliable, and far more expensive to repair when the time comes.

It is indeed good that there are real buttons and dials. Im not going to count on a cost effective replacement 10-12 years down the road, which to me IS a consideration.

Still, awesome car.

Since he has projectors, that is why I suggested DDMTUNING! I thought it will not be a mortal sin to swap the bulbs or would it still be glare city?

HID retrofits are not legal or effective, even in projectors. The projectors are designed for halogen bulbs, and use halogen bulbs.
