Bit of a zombie bump here, but I tested a 2026 a few weeks ago, and the OP review was nicely done.
I didn't have an issue with the drivetrain, overall. It was good enough.
Honestly, it was a pretty nice car.
But there were a few concerns.
Mid-level and up trims push you into Evotex seats. I absolutely despise pleather or leather, and much prefer cloth. And most of the interiors are black.
I could add nice seat covers..
But the absolute deal breaker was the audio. I'm not a super audiophile, but like decent sound...and I'm happy with our stock base-level Honda systems.
I am stunned at how bad the audio was. It was a mid-rangey mess with no detail, flubby low end and shrill highs. It would require effort and money to correct it.
How could Chevy release the vehicle with such poor audio?
The salesperson said there is an available 7 speaker Bose system, but reviews state there is no upgrade available.
The Chevy website implies a Bose system...kinda.
