Wife wants a new pickup

We will sell it private party the"blue book" prices are up to 14,9500. so I'll try that and hope for a generous offer close to or at the price Hope, .hope ,hope. I drove the new truck and it feels pretty much like the old one. I over the years of ownership [the 2002]probably drove it less that 400 miles. Dump runs mostly. 2011 I bought 2 fore closures real cheap and 1 needed quite a bit of work and the other was in great shape but needed dry rot on the deck and a paint job . That was the most I drove the truck. 2 valve engine ! port fuel injection ! VVt some how. What oil should I use

and yes I will do an early oil change[ but not as early]as I usually do in every thing but I promised my self to not over maintain it like I am going to keep it for ever. It is hard to not over maintain I have a sever problem with the maintenance thing.

With all due respect-if the new truck drove like the "old one" then your power of perception is pretty numb.......

Hint: 16 years is pretty close to forever in the realm of vehicle ownership . A tiny percentage of people own one that long (6.5 years average). BITOGers seem to be skewed toward longer ownership than the general public but still..
