wix is now a Mann+Hummel company and not the company you grew to trust. M+H non wire backed media is not known for its integrity. basically it’s probably about the same filter as the FL820s as M+H builds the motorcraft line as well.
Carquest/microgard are Premium Guard based filters out of Vietnam and have shown to be a rock solid alternative to the mayhem that’s going on in the american made filter market
Find a carquest or advanced auto store and get the carquest premium. You can even order them online with free shipping when you spend $35. In my opinion carquest premium is the best bang for the buck right now.

I've heard good things about the Bosch 3410 filters. Is there a difference between the regular 3410 and the ST3410 filters? Is it like Wix 51372 and 51372XP?

I might not have mentioned it, but I do 5,000-mile OCI (w/Valvoline EP 5W-30) so I'm more interested in "better filtration" and not extended drain intervals. I keep my trucks to 100k± miles.

BrendanC, I noticed in your sig. you use FRAM Titanium Filters. How do the FRAM Titanium and Endurance Filters compare to the Carquest Premium Filters?

i am using old stock OG fram titanium’s. they used to be the same filter internally as the fram ultras (XG) with a synthetic dual layer media backed with wire backing. they no longer are built like that. but rather a cellulose filter with synthetic top coat sprayed on. you can take a flash light and look down the center tubes of the titanium’s in the store and look for the wire backing. the OG ultra/titanium’s were and still are the king of filtration. People are freaking out about the Endurances right now with its bypass valve leaking, i still use them on the fleet vehicles i service with HPL lube for 12k miles. for high efficiency filtration that’s currently on the market it is the best you can get off walmart shelves.

It may not matter that the Ford 820s is less than $4 on Amazon, but it has stayed like that for quite some time. If you get a filter cutter you could check them. It says recommended by Ford. It does have the base bypass system which Ford likes. There is a racing version, $$$.
It's not the actual bypass valve ... it's the leaf spring to end cap metal-to-meal "seal" area that has big gaps due to ratty leaf spring stamping quality.
ST oil filter are great for 5k oci
Got a 2025 RAM 1500 Warlock, it has a twin-turbo I-6.
Only has 300 miles so far, so I have time to decide.
They are recommending Pennzoil Ultra Platinum in 0w20.
What do you people think and/or suggest for oil & filters?

Premium guard XL. easily found at AAP and Orileys on the Carquest Premium and Microgard select. IMO the best filters on the market currently.
