Why haven't gas prices gone down?

Our shells in town were bought out. 1 by arco and the other by Marathon, so I can’t use my points there. I’m on the road next week going to PA, so I’m going to save a dollars worth in hopes to use up Septembers. Winter gas at Kroger isn’t half as bad a summer fuel. Unless I fill up at marathon in the warmer months my 2018 pings.

Me either. Makes my vehicles sound like popcorn poppers.
That's why I take my Kroger points to Shell.

You can use Kroger points ( and HT points which Kroger now owns) at participating BP stations.

I think Washington state times implementing large unessesary gas tax hikes to when prices drop. So the price stays close to the same or slightly more....... Instead of dropping. Carbon tax shell game.

It’s funny how fast gas prices started skyrocketing in October 2020, the result being the below followed by $2.45/gal in November 2024. Sadly our spread between grades has if anything gotten worse

As long as you stay away from the name brands gas is right around $4 here.

The town of Goffs is always high priced.

Yes. I wouldn't stop. A no name station between Aberdeen and Edgewood on route 40.

Probably making up the difference on some other "items"

However it was $2.55 at a 7-11 that day.

The Chevron I normally go to was $2.42 on Tuesday or Wednesday. Was back to $2.79 the next day. Its my normal stop - if the price is right. They definitely play the game.

It was $1.69/gal for regular at the Bucees in Northern Colorado last week today it's at $1.89/gal.

Edit: Otherwise it's ranging from $1.94 to $2.30 in the area.

Were now down to $2.38. So $2.42 to $2.79 for several days everywhere and back down to $2.38 - in less than 1 week.

But yes, the retailers only make 3 cents a gallon.
