Who's the current main-stream favourite for 5w40 applications (high temp/shear)

If it wasn't for M1 I would pick Shell Helix Ultra 5w40 without a second thought. Actually, sometimes I catch myself sneak praising the smooth operation of Shell Helix over M1.

Ok, i can accept that - what good, mainstream oils have that, that are not Mobil1? (sorry, won't use Mobil1)
