Obviously two different use cases where 2 diff oils might come into play.
What would you look for and have people had experience with noisy lifters actually clearing up, likely they tend to be more high mileage but not always?
The other typical use case would be regular customers cars, Ive usually used 0w40 Mobil 1 with the intent to have some thats flowing at cold viscosities and doesnt thing out bad with higher oil temps, but I know formulations change. What type of oils would be top recommendations in todays market that are available reasonably priced - Walmart was always a great source for the 0w40 Mobil lol
These are some of the ones Ive seen mentioned
Pennzoil Platinum® Euro Full Synthetic Motor Oil 5W-40
Pennzoil Platinum® Racing 10W-60
Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30
Quaker State 5w30 Ultra Protection
Mobil 5w40 Euro Car Formula (are these not recommended for protection just for long oil change interval? We never go over 5000 miles on anything)
