Which tire - out of these 3 + any other recommendation.

I’ve run the conti’s and Pirelli tires on my Jeep GC WK2 back to back. The are both good tires in all conditions, but the Pirellis lasted a bit longer. If I had to choose between the two again, I’d run the Pirelli Scorpion.

Running the cooper discoverer AT2 now, mainly because I wanted to buy US made. No complaints on these, in comparison to the other two. They are all good tires.

For your application and usage criteria, I would suggest contacting your local Pep Boys tire store to see if they can order the Cooper Adventurer A/T tires for your '07 Tahoe. They are great all-around tires and the 265/65R18 size is currently bargain priced at Pep Boys.

That pricing is a steal!! Is it for real??
I think Cooper is discontinuing that tire and replacing it with the newer Discoverer AT3 4S. Availability in certain sizes appears to be limited at Pep Boys. The Cooper Adventurer AT tire is a Pep Boy's exclusive model and identical to the original Discoverer AT3.

The PEP Boys near me was damaged in a storm a few years back - it never reopened.

But thanks.
No stores around me even carry that tire.

After all the research - I really do beat this stuff to death!

I finally decided to get down to business and went to Discount Tire to try and negotiate a deal.

Four Goodyear Wrangler Workhorse HT 265 65 18 balanced and installed +

Four new TPMS - mine are 9.5 years old and they can't last much longer.

Total price all in including tax and fees $848.92

DT regular price for these tire and TPMS was $1,366.87 negotiation saved me over $500.

I have only had the Goodyear Workhorse HT tires installed for a short time -

But so far I am very happy.

Hard to / not fair to compare new tires VS old but the GY are so much smoother than the 7 year old Michelin Defenders they replaced.

I think for the $$ the Goodyear was the best choice, but when my wife needs tires for her Highlander I may go with Pirelli.

I like Discount Tire - but nobody is perfect.

They shipped by Tires from the Dallas warehouse - but they put them on a truck heading to Chicago - I am in Houston.

When they didn't show and they realized they made a mistake - they sent the replacements FedX so I would have them the next day.
