Which tire - out of these 3 + any other recommendation.

The answer is always Michelin, assuming they have the model you want in the size you need. Conti is a close second, followed by Toyo, Pirelli, and Cooper. Goodyears have always been mediocre and expensive... not a great combination.

I've had numerous different brands on dozens of vehicles over the years. As @edyvw said, tires are not where you should be looking for the lowest cost. I bought a car a few years back that had new Nankangs on it, and had not one, but two blowouts; the only blowouts I've had in almost 50 years.

Amortize the add'l cost of the Michelins over the miles you'll get out of 'em, and you'll find it's nominal.

If you're just looking for something round and black to put on it for a while until you decide what you do want.... Summit Trailclimber HT3.
Many online retailers carry then and so should Walmart, if you have a Tire and Lube Express nearby. Tread profile and design looks very similar to the Michelins for a fraction of the price. Here's a link:

There are also Cooper Evolution HT2s in that ad for $155 each. Cooper makes good tires.

Michelin Defender. I have used several sets with great wear and results. Always top rated by Consumer Reports...surprisingly they did not test them in the most recent test.

I am currently using the (Consumer Reports) top rated Continental TerrainContact H/T. Performance is equal to the Michelin, and surprisingly, they seem to be wearing even better. I have about 40k miles on them, and appear barely half through the tread.
Reasonably quiet, and good wet weather traction.

I had a set of Continental Terrain Contact H/T on my Silverado 1500 before I traded it in. They had phenomenal traction in all conditions. I was driving places in the snow in 2WD that the other tires never could. They rode so nice and were quiet. I definitely pick those over the original Defender LTX M/S. Not sure how they compare the LTX M/S2

Did some more searching and discovered there's likely ( 🤷‍♂️ ) to be a $100 rebate on the tires below starting 9/1/25 > 10/31/25 . Found the rebate at nationaltirerebates.com . Can find other rebates on other tire brands at their site .

GENERAL TIRES : $100 rebate ( 9/1/25 - 10/31/25 ) :

1) ALTIMAX 365 AW
2) ALTIMAX Arctic12
3) G-MAX AS07
4) GRABBER APT
5) GRABBER Arctic
6) GRABBER Arctic LT
7) GRABBER A/T Sport
8) GRABBER A/T Sport-W
9) GRABBER A/TX
10) GRABBER HD
11) GRABBER HD Van
12) GRABBER H/T
13) GRABBER HTS
14) GRABBER HTS60
15) GRABBER UHP
16) GRABBER X3

May be purchasing the ALTIMAX 365AW if there's a rebate of $100 . If not , may look at other tires and their discounts .

Depending on the vehicle and your driving style, I’d call this a solid choice. I’ve had six of them on the CX-5 for a couple of years now (replaced one axle set because I had neglected to rotate them). Their grip isn’t the greatest, but they’re very communicative when they do break loose, and I’ve never gotten myself into a dangerous situation with them. Now that I’m no longer in the target market for an AW tire, they’re not at the top of my list, but I’d certainly recommend them to anyone who needs that type of tire.

Of the 3 tires you listed, I'd put on the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2. However, If you only drive the truck the way you say, I'd look for tires that are le$$ expensive than any of the 3 tires you listed. Something more suited for the way you REALLY/ACTUALLY use the Tahoe.
