Which L/F Toilet??

The Terry Love site is a good place to start when researching low flow toilets that actually work. We bought a Toto Ultramax a few years ago and have been very pleased with it. I used to have to use a plunger about twice a month, but don't use it at all anymore. As others have stated there is a way to get more than a 1.6 gallon flush with this toilet by just holding the handle down for two seconds. This feature isn't advertised by Toto (probably because it would be illegal to do so

) but it comes in very useful when flushing that extra heavy payload.

I am also currently on a quest to purchase a low flush toilet. Here are my observations:

- The Toto Drake line seem to be an excellent toilet.
- Research American Standard Cadet 3 as well.
- An excellent source to compare brands/features is faucetdirect.com

I also perused through http://www.plumbingzone.com/ to get some information from the professionals that install the toilets. But a poster on Terry Love's site made an interesting point about plumbers: they are naturally going to be drawn to products with THE LEAST callbacks. Hence a certain product bias that may exclude a perfectly fine product should it require some minor adjustment.
