This is just an opinion poll nothing more we all have our favorite flavor of oil that our engines like to use. So please share what you prefer. Please keep it civil let’s have fun. If I left one out please forgive me

Misspelled Schaeffer’s
I voted for Rotella, Delvac ESP, & included Schaeffer's since they're from my home state of MO.

Missing a lot of good oils though. I understand this will be a limited scope as a result.

I like to discuss HDEO's though. 👍

I might be the outlier here, but for my applications, cheapest oil = best oil. Brand agnostic.

My ancient engines won't care; anything on the shelf today is lightyears ahead of the oils they were designed for. Daily driver is an old school IDI diesel that will soot up the oil and trigger OCI no matter what it costs, and everything else gets a yearly or every other year oil change due to running so few miles. Just no sense in spending more.

Cheapest = best.

Ironically enough, I’ve only used HDEO oil in non-diesel applications.

For the jetski I used to own, I ran Rotella T6 15w40. In my mower, I’ve used Rotella T6, Supertech Full Synthetic HDEO 15w40 or Mobil Delvac 1 ESP 15w/5w40. In my MasterCraft Prostar, I’ve used Mobil 1 Delvac Extreme 15w40 or Delvac ESP 5w40.

no Mystik either. I'm halfway thrugh my stash that I picked up a few years ago. I prefer Mystik or Delvac 1300 for price and rebates.

I’m partial to premium blue, but only because I’ve been testing engines with it for 20 years. When Roger England was with Cummins, he was a key figure behind CJ-4 formula of Premium Blue, as it was essentially blended to Cummins specs and CES 20081. Or so I was told by coworkers who worked with Roger then.

Roger is now CTO at Valvoline.

Petro Canada duron SHP 10w30 .
Have been using it in outdoor equipment and my wife's Hyundai accent .
Has performed very well in the car which is short tripped and I believe to be a heavy fuel diluter reeks of fuel on the dipstick and when you drain the oil.

They are the same to me for my junk, price is the driver.

Who voted for hype-train Hotshots?
