For a few extra dollars, I would go with a Flex 3401XRG. It is even more powerful and will make the job much faster. I paid $335 shipped for mine with two qts of M105/M205 and a Flex bag from autogeek.
But it will run the risk of damaging the paint, unlike the PC7424. I've seen first hand the results and when I can will buy a 7424.
The risk comes from not having the training and experience to use it correctly.
If you can learn on cars with low value you gain the experience toward being able to better handle the machine on cars with considerably higher value. That is how we learned to use rotaries back in the day. You don't put a high power polisher in the hands of a 10 year old and let them polish a new Jag.
Back when I was doing this kind of work for a living I was buffing 20 cars per day. Later I moved on to paint work, touch ups etc.
