Porter Cable 18v Ni-Cad Battery Therma Fuse

Greetings fellow forum users. I am new to this forum site (google search) and I have a question for you DIYer's. I have an 18v Porter Cable Ni-cad battery pack which I burnt the Thermal Fuse (known by other names I guess) after purchasing a new charger (the original appears not to have been charging properly any longer) and I was wondering if anyone knows what thermal fuse is used in these batteries so I can purchase and replace my burnt one.(?) The battery pack is PC18B.

That usually happens when one or more of the cells is shorted, causing the other ones to overheat. The battery is no good.

I know the battery has an issue, that is why I rebuilt it. I need to complete the build by replacing the thermal fuse, but I need to know what type of fuse so I can replace it. Any ideas???????
