Whats your favorite rifle?

Best for plinking? Tie

Funnest to hold collector Winchester 9422 XTR

AK until barrel is near glowing and readily smoking is fun but not a good shouldering rifle

Frankly ok my 6.8 SPC AR is so accurate it amazes people. I do like it a lot
I have a 6mm ARC in AR platform that I built, with Primary Arms SLx 1X ACSS-CQB red dot. I sighted it in at 50 yards the other day, then moving from the tip of the Chevron in the reticle to the wings of the Chevron (look up the reticle on interwebz), proceeded to drill the steel deer silhouette in the vitals at 350 yards with zero elevation adjustments. Did use a SIG 3x magnifier in front of the PA SLx at 350, though.

Can’t wait til rifle season next month…

Was? WAS? You let it go?
I did, figured it was going to be a lifetime keeper for me but I had some guy offer me more than I had paid for the whole system(rifle, scope, bipod, etc) because he just wanted a turn key system. At the time I was very much into ISPC competition handgun and rifle shooting at a fairly high level and was buying multiples of $10k handguns and or rifles so I figured I could/can always buy another AI at some point if I want. I wasn’t using the AIAX at the time at all because I was practicing and travelling to IPSC matches any spare time I had.

In my adult life, I've kept myself from buying any rifles because I know my addictive personality would like fancy rifles waaaay more than my budget would allow. I have an old hand me down lever action .22 from Montgomery Ward that gets shot every 37 years whether it needs it or not.

Marlin Model 25 MN bolt action .22 Magnum. I’d actually consider myself a “Remington guy” and I grew up on Winchester 94 30/30s and .22s but there’s just something about that little Marlin that fits me well. I’m more accurate with it than any other rifle Ive owned.
Micro-Groove barrel? It makes a difference I've been told.

Probably my son's Henry Eagle Scout version presented to him at his Eagle Ceremony. I don't even know if he put any rounds through it yet, it's in a display case currently. He had no clue I bought it for him before it was on the table. His dedication and our memories, well worth it.

His is probably his M1 Garand we bought from CMP, cleaned up and went Orion (20 minutes away) to get checked and some repairs/restorations). That has seen many rounds and fondling.
