When I don't make my own, I like these....
There's also one called blazers but don't have it on hand.
In order of Heat (1. Being hottest)
1. Blazers Trinidad very hot
2. D'elidas Panama hot
3. Pickapeppa Jamaica spicy
4. Bertie's Trinidad semi spicy

No love for Tabasco here? It has stood the test of time for a reason, it is the standard.

Tapatio is my favorite, it's also stupidly inexpensive. It's one of the few that doesn't use vinegar as a base.
Lately I've taken a liking to the green Cholula, it's pricey though.
Tabasco is fine, just not a favorite.

I don't have any one favorite. I like to rotate different types and brands and haven't had many hot sauces that I didn't like.

I also like Yucatan Sunshine. It is Habanero butt no anal ring of fire or sweats on the white bus.

What about favorite "cheap" hot sauces? I think the most I ever paid for a bottle of this was $2 but I also enjoy this:

I love the smoked Tabasco too it almost tastes more like a bbq sauce than a hot sauce. Nice and vinegary.
Nothing wrong with regular Tabasco. But it more of a cooking sauce than a table sauce IMHO. That said I use more Crystal than Tabasco.
