What's everyone's favorite 0w-20 these days?

Idk if it’s my favorite but it’s the only 0w-20 I’ve been buying. Quaker State 0w-20 full synthetic. Been using it on two applications. A Hyundai 1.6t smartstream and a Hemi 5.7.
 
Pennzoil Ultra Platinum the world! 0w20 in the Prius, 5w30 in the Civic and also in the Turbo CX5 with a dash of 0w40..

To compound matters - my WM now has both M1 0W30 ESP and M1 5W30 ESP side by side on the shelf for $27 ea.

ESP has more approvals on it so it’s the better choice

It depends. I shoot for 4k, sometimes earlier and sometimes later. It’s pretty dependent on my time and what I feel like doing.

If I get back from work one day and the car is at 3200-3500 miles and I’m already sweaty and dirty I’ll change it. Other times I just wait until 4k rolls around.

In my former Hyundai Elantra 2.0L engine it called for 5W20 but 5W30 was acceptable (per the OM). I ran a thick 5W30 for one OCI and noticed the performance drop off as well. Ditto for my Hyundai Sonata 2.4L except it was best to stay with a 5W30 due to specific Hyundai 2.4L engine challenges . If I were to run a off the shelf store 20 weight oil it would be M1 0W20 ESP X2 which is perhaps the best 20 weight oil on the shelf at WM .

Do those other regions use the exact same emissions equipment and specs as the US models? You answered your own question, apples to oranges.

I defined the performance drop as engine was sluggish , engine did not run as “free” as while on 20 weight oil and throttle pep was missing.
