That's the whole point. MDX that you suggested wasn't on his radar either. If we're going to expand his/her horizons, why limit ourselves to gasoline engines only?

You may want to re-read the first page. It WAS on his radar as he mentioned it first which is why I responded to point out some useful information he may want to consider as he was desirous that she choose that vehicle. Otherwise I wouldn't have had anything to add to this thread. It's hybrids and TDIs that were not on his radar (not saying they shouldn't be but they weren't).
But yes, seems to be a moot point now.
