What kind of oil do you use?

PP or Mobil 1 in the mustang. Wife usually just gets the cheapest synthetic on the shelf for her Sentra/Rogue

In the truck - Whatever 5w30 Dexos gen2 (or 3 now I guess) I can find cheapest. Getting close to the end of my stash of clearance RGT, back to QSFS or Super Tech syn probably.

In the Volvo - Cheapest A5/B5 I can find. Usually Mobil1 when the rebate is active.

Mobil1 for as long as I can remember, probably since the 90's, right now, M1 5W-30 EP. Usually buy the "bundle" from Advance or AZ. Prefer to buy quarts as a change in both of our CR-V'S is 3.7 and I save up the extra quarts until I've got 4. Dealer does the changes as both cars have extended warranties and I'm too old to be crawling under to change my own. Mobil1 has always performed well, have gone well over 100k with several Hondas, never had an engine problem, so I stay with what works for me.

Whatever name brand full syn 5w30 or 10w30 is cheapest (including rebates), typically PP, M1, QS or Valvoline. Occasionally I run NAPA and SuperTech full syn. Odometer is just shy of 185,000 miles and still no need for high mileage flavors.

It would be interesting to know how many people on this site actually run just regular old conventional oil

No such thing anymore though, right? Just blends now if you want current API spec anyway.

I'm switching down from full synthetics (Mobil 1 and PP mostly) to a blend for my next OCI.

Honestly with how good even blends are nowadays, synthetics may be pointless in port injected engines for those sticking to 5,000 miles like many do.

Top shelf/Boutique Syn - HPL (Advanced Lubrication Specialties)
Major Brand Syn - Liquimoly (FCP Euro)
Private/Store brand oils - Supertech (Walmart)

See signature for details.
