Great, thanks. Now I'm really going to be up at night thinking my Nissan OEM is a FRAM. If it turns out to be, I'll feel like a real ******* , since it costs almost $10CDN from the Stealership. Like I said - gonna try Carquest brand (Wix) next time.

I've been thinking, however, of using Carquest filters (which are actually Wix). The Mopar filter actually looks well designed - I can see a metal spring when I look inside instead of a plastic cap, but the Nissan looks scarily like a Fram (plastic cap inside). I'm gonna cut them both open next oil change. I just started using the GC on the Max, the Dodge has had it all winter, but I intend to run it all year. The Dodge is mostly city driving, the Max mostly highway. I might increase the Max to 10000km.
