300/300 fiber through local phone company, no bandwidth limits. We actually have two houses using this connection and still never come close to saturating it.
Xfinity 800 mps.
T-Mobile 5G. Three people in my home. The speed is usually around 140-148 mbps.
Verizon FIOS gigabit.
Actual up/down speeds depend on the device, proximity to the router, etc. but generally run about 100-500 Mb/s over wifi.
When I plug a computer into the router by cable, the connection runs at 900+ Mb/s.
We have three smart TVs, lots of devices, and when the kids are visiting, up to dozens of devices connected, never any lag or buffering for streaming.

We got fiber optic internet a couple years ago in NH. Before that there was no broadband available here.
Fastest speed I can get in my neighborhood made in 07 is 20mbps with att. But the homes in a nearby neighborhood made 2 years later can enjoy up to 1000mb with att fiber since it appears our homes were fitted with the last of the old stuff and theirs were fitted with the first of the new stuff. What's annoying is that 20mb for me is the same price as 100mb for them. But 20mb is surprisingly not bad even though it sounds terrible in day to day usage.

We have an outdoor 4-channel antenna and our modem/router has four external ports for the wires.
We don't game or use all this speed, but it's sure nice. My wife has a WFH job and she's always on video conference meetings. And I can stream movies, etc at the same time with no interruptions.

Charter / Spectrum 300mbps download, 15mbps upload $49/month. More than fast enough for us. Good service too.
You asked for people's speeds but only posted half of yours.
what is your upload? AFAIK xfinity isnt synchronous
I heard that by fall 2026 they are rolling out synchronous speeds to my area ie 1gb down/ 1gb up etc.
My "1 GIG" spectrum seems to cap out at around 900 down 40up, although on a good day I've gotten 1100 down.
the "rated" speed is "upto" 1000 down 35 up

We have no choice where I am. Company called Comporium. We have fiber 600/600. Works fine. 600 up and down is plenty for my wife and I (work from home most of the time with video/teams conferencing pretty regularly) and both my sons (they game (XBox/PS5/PC) plus we stream everything. No cable or Sat.

Cox cable is my only option, depending on time of day somewhere between 170-300Mbps
speedtest doesn't want to load for me right now, but spectrum recently upped their speeds for the same cost.

ATT fi-ber that was installed 3 years ago. Works great, no long term down time. Out of my WiFi box most tests show 180-265mbps down and about the same up. $60
Seems reasonable to me tbh.
Anyone here who is the middle of nowhere tried Starlink?
