Transmission= Manual --- Tremec 3650 (stock) ... hoping to have t56 by the fall
Buick I meant that the engine Ford built used a roots blower. (my bad lol)
I am looking for a heavier weight, I am thinking 10w 40. The car will not see any real cold weather either. I am stuck between red line and amsoil. Any advice between the two? Thanks everyone for the input. This forum is awesome!.....
That makes more sense. I haven't kept up with the racing world for the past year and I'm already forgetting many things.
I think the 10-40 would be great for your car. I'm a big Amsoil fan and use it in the TL but I've never tried it in something with power. My eye is on Redline's straight 40wt which also can be classified as a 15-40 with no VIIs and has a very high HTHS. I'm not saying Amsoil won't suit your needs but Redline seems to be geared more toward racing and I like the idea of straight weight synthetics for racing.
Good luck with the Mustang. Sounds like a fun car.
