Not really, a 0W30 can only be had in a synthetic, so they are shear stable as they have little if any VI
a 10w-30 syn perhaps has no VII, but it has been somewhat established that the wider spread syn oils may still have VIIs.
0w-30 has a greater chance of VII than 5w-30, the wider the spread, the more robust a base stock is needed to meet it, or the more VII is required.
Doesnt mean that either shear anything like a dino oil will. Blouestream's point isnt necessarily relevant to syn 5w-30 vs syn 0w-30...
