What can a new 2010 Corolla be purchased for?

I think the $15.8k price you got is pretty good. Relatives of mine bought an 09 model LE in 08 for over $18k. Granted they suck at negotiating and it was the newest iteration.

I have to say I'm not very impressed with the newest Corolla. Everything inside feels so cheap. Put together well though.

18 grand for a corolla, thats hilarious. It ttoo bad your relatives didnt have a negotiator to help them buy the car. Sticker price means NOTHING. It comparable VALUE even on a NEW car. Now that GM is not making these at NUMMI where are they made?

My aunt's is made in Japan. I would guess the domestic ones come from Canada?

My relatives are impulsive people so sometimes it can't be helped.

Out of curiosity, I looked up my local dealer's inventory on their website.

They list 88 new Corollas: 59 are from California (NUMMI), 27 from Canada, and 2 from Japan.

I just looked at the inventory for at the local one here and they only have 19 and all the vins start with 1n. My aunt was told she didn't need to get the pedal recall done because it was made in Japan so I guess she got lucky.
