A Pair Of New Budget Shotguns

Don't write off Illinois as one of the absolute worst for gun ownership. There you must have a Firearms Owners Identification Card, (F.O.I.D. Card), to even be in possession of a firearm.

And it is totally up to the state to issue you one. And if you don't have one, or allow the one you do have to expire, you are then in illegal possession of a firearm(s), and can have them confiscated. This has happened to several people.

I left that place in 1991, and it was bad then with all of their "waiting periods" and such. I can only imagine how bad it is now. At one time they even recorded every round of ammunition you purchased in a dealers book they were required to keep. When we moved here it was like being in another country.
Yeah its a lot of BS here to say the least. The PICA bill made selling anything they consider an "assault weapon" illegal to sell anymore and you were suppose to register anything you have that qualifies. No one did and I assume the court challenge will end up all the way at the US Supreme Court no matter how the next ruling ends up. Waiting on the 7th Court to issue their ruling, which will not surprise me if they end up overturning the last judges ruling that PICA is absolutely a violation of the 2A.

Waiting period is 3 days on everything now. They've tried to get some laws past on ammo but none of them have managed to go through. Still have to show your FOID/CCW to buy ammo though. The state police issue the FOID and CCW and for a long time they were dragging their feet on getting the cards out to people. At one point my FOID was expired and I waited over a year for my new one due to their "backlog." The state police and the state itself were both sued over the issue and were required to fix the issue finally due to the courts. It hasn't been a problem in a while but it if it can happen once it can happen again.

Chicago ruins everything in this state. I've said it for many years, IL would be a great place to live if it wasn't for Chicago. Its still not quite as bad as Kalifornia but its still not good.

I put another 75 rounds through the RZ-17 this morning. I took it to the club and shot 3 rounds of Trap with it. It functioned flawlessly. It's getting noticeably smoother.

All total it has about 200 rounds of my reloads through it. And not a single malfunction thus far.

I was thinking make 2 pipe shotguns and name them Mario and Luigi.

Instead of transfer fee I just buy $70 to $350 worth of ammo I was already going to buy.
