What brand of autoparts would you use?

They are GG

Nice! Most of the Bendix CT+3 i have got are GG also although for some Asian models they have been FF for the rear.
These are my favourite pads and are in every car i own with only a few high performance exceptions that take carbon brakes.

The one thing i have noticed with these pads is dont try to "bed" them in, you will possibly glaze the pads and it will take a few thousand miles to get right.
Just drive normally and they "bed" in just fine.

You might not be aware, but there are two Koreas - North Korea and South Korea. They are effectively separate countries.

South Korea is a US ally, a democracy and a fully developed country that makes a lot of high-tech products. While I prefer USA made parts, I would gladly buy Korean parts over Mexico or China. The part you bought was surely made in South Korea. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Korea

North Korea is not a US ally. It's a communist dictatorship. The US has an embargo against North Korea. The part you bought was not made in North Korea. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Korea

Pyongyang (the city you mentioned) is the capital of North Korea.

Thanks for the explanation.
For referential and deferential purposes, I will now announce that I've been privy to this information this entire time, and have visited South Korea in recent years, but well before my post was made.
I will now back slowly out of this thread, and wish all players and contenders nothing but the absolute and very best.

1 more vote for Moog chassis parts, they are expensive but their problem solver line does just what it says. My number 1 account simply will not buy anything else. TRW (also Fed Mogul) are quite similar, but they do not have the problem solver line.

Wagner TQ's are great but they do not suite all driving styles.

I have had some issues with TQ's, I replace them with Akebonos and so far so good.

When we talked to Wagner about 'squealing' issues they told us to make sure that you wash new rotors with dish soap and water, not brake cleaner. They claimed to have the engineering analysis to back up the use of dish soap.

We carry 'house brand' chassis parts and for some applications they are not that bad. But, if you own a truck, full size van, SUV they are not going to last, they will be toast in less than a year.

Can't answer your second question. However, I recently replaced the sway bar links on my wife's '03 Ford Focus. I went with Raybestos Professional grade links. Time will tell how they hold up, but I was quite impressed with the design. Unlike many links, they are serviceable and have grease zerks.
