What are you working on today?

Biggest issue I've had material wise is drilling 304 stainless. It eats up drill bit ends and does everything it can to harden as you drill. The procedure I do on it is technically coring, but our coring bit is only like 3-4" long, and we need to come in about 8-10". I've been told a coring bit for that length would have to be custom ordered to the tune of about $1400 for 1 bit....so we drill.
I don't mind 304 although I definitely strive for 303 if welding isn't required.

I hate 316. Drills poorly, terrible hole finish, the chips suck and trashes standard drill bits.

On plastics i drill once and my friend does the reamer this and that but I just use parabolic drill bits and most of my work is 13/32 bits..
Reamers ain't my thing...

For the first time in probably a decade, this Avalon will have a matching set of tires
You'd think she could've sprung for the matching 5th for the spare?
No, so it'll remain the 2010 Factory Bridgestone 🙄
I miss when Toyota gave you a matching 5th Alloy 😔
Mismatched and balding Forceum/Linglongs were ditched for Kumho LX Platinum KU27, a good deal at $85 a corner
TPMS light has been on since a shop screwed it up ~8 years back, so 5 OE type Schrader's went in

It was time for all 5
I like the idea of TPMS in the spare, it forces you to air it up if you want the light out 👍
It had a mishmash of factory Pacific, Schrader EZ clone, Autel MX, and one was just a rubber stem
Clean slate with the fresh rubber

Most pleasant lack of dash emojis 🤌

They ride more than fairly for the $85 a corner price
Who knows how the wet grip will be 👀
