Had a busy night at work. First had a Fishbein sewing machine jump time somewhere and start breaking needles, swapped it out with a rebuilt head and this one will be sent out for repairs. Then had a Wexxar case errector machine throw a control power fault......beat my head on it trying to find a bad transformer, fuse or something and it ended up being one of the access doors not shut all the way and the door switch not made
. These machines rarely have problems so I'm not well versed in them simply due to the fact that I never see them. The factory programming is very good and nearly every fault is displayed on the touch screen and is easily dealt with at an operator level.
Last had a blow down blower for a dust collection system start to fail, it sounded like it had a couple teeth missing and upon removal of the inlet pipe found evidence of the lobes hitting. When we removed the drive belts you could feel way too much backlash in the gearbox. Back box had no oil in the sight glass and driven box had very little oil. Luckily we keep a spare so we had it swapped and running in about 6 hours. This is just a small assortment of the stuff I work on daily. Didn't even get to touch the backlog of wheeled equipment maintenance and repairs that I'm behind on.
