Sushi @ Wild Wasabi in Cummings Station. Cutehumor, you gotta eat here during the lunch buffet. The steak & shrimp w/veg's cooked on the hibachi is FANTASTIC!

We went to the pub for a pub lunch, I had a beer (coopers pale ale schooner) plus 400g medium rump steak with chips and a garlic butter sauce.

Part of today's lunch:

Have restaurant industry lost site of KISS concept?

I prefer a hamburger with:
  • Fresh, warm, grill-browned bun
  • 1 lean hamburger patty, no more than 3-4 ounces cooked
  • Lots of organic romaine lettuce, placed between bottom bun and patty
  • Freshly sliced, not-too-ripe tomato slices, placed between top bun and patty
  • Yellow mustard on bottom bun
  • Organic catsup on top bun

...or is this simply too mundane for them?

What type of meat/fish?

There's some ham between the lettuce and the egg.

God being sick sucks... But I said to heck with work, and took two banked stat holidays, and a week's worth of vacation to boot!

The downside is I'm moving in two days. And based on my current condition, I doubt I'll be feeling any better...

I made a big batch of salmon salad (same things as tuna salad basically - canned salmon, mayo, diced sweet pickle, diced red pepper, thinly diced red onion, dill, and a touch of curry powder) and had sandwiches and salads (romaine surrounding a wedged tomato - stick the salmon salad inside the tomato) this week.

Very tasty and a lot healthier then the crud I usually eat.

My boss thinks I'm turning into some yoga vegan freak.

I picked up a tuna salad sandwich (I've posted a reverse-engineered version on here before... they use lemons, cranberries and almonds in theirs and I like their bread), a really good lentil salad, and a bottle of white tea from a local store near the library. I always find the neatest bottle caps with one brand in particular. I've got quite a collection now!

Here's the one from today.
