When I first brought my wife back to the US a bajillion years ago, one of our first shopping expeditions we got a 6 pack of "Chicken of the Sea" brand tuna. She thought it was canned chicken. Big surprise when she opened the first can.. Yes, I'm a mean husband - I used to ask her to say Really Lillian.

I was looking forward to kangaroo steak and sweet potato for dinner last night but as I was on my way home my wife told me she had leftover food from a conference she had attended.
It was ham and cheese croissants and also sweet croissants. I added an egg to a ham and cheese to make it healthy. They were actually pretty good.

Nuts, olives, dried tomato, bacon, burger patties, salmon, rockfish, paneer cheese. Olive oil drizzle. Hey I ate my salad first!

Late lunch of chicken, cabbage, squash, tomatoes, onions, etc on Konjac noodles. Kind of bland, but good when coming in from the cold.

Roasted peppers for a change of pace. Added to Taylor Farms brocolli crunch salad kit. Cubed room temp chicken thigh. Don't worry I trim the charred bits

I grabbed some fish and chips from the Niagara on the Lake branch of the Royal Canadian Legion tonight. They do a fish fry once a week. It was only $10 ($7.39 US) and it was delicious
