I couldn't imagine making a soup without it. In your case carrots are a no-go so was curious about the rest is all.
It's a meat broth. Perhaps I shouldn't have called it a soup. Didn't need a vegetable foundation and it's very delicious with plenty of herbs and grass fed lamb and beef.
