Kraut and what looks like pickled ginger (pink) with brisket downunder?I just did the same thing, but because I had a gift certificate to a BBQ restaurant rather than becoming rich or taking excess vitamins.
I had beef brisket, my wife had beef ribs.

I had AMAZING butter chicken tonight from Niagara region’s best food truck. This was seriously in my top 3 of all time favorite butter chicken dishes (and I’ve tried many) View attachment 304134
Those look ready for a second fryFries turned out pretty good. My system if production was slow. I was heating the canola oil ( I will try something different next time as I dont care for it) in my dutch oven on the gas grill. I will make smaller cuts as well.

I agree! I hate when restaurants just put the fries in there for a 2-3 minute cook. They need to be “well done”Fries really aren't good unless 2X-3X. Look it up.
There is a youtube idio where two Brit clowns deep fry their "chips" (fries, like steak fries/small joe-joes) tons of times, over and over, chilling each time - I can't remember - many times, after 12? 15??? A bunch of times the flavor level evens out. Two times is even a compromise. 2X+I agree! I hate when restaurants just put the fries in there for a 2-3 minute cook. They need to be “well done”
Yeah brisket is not common down here. It was served with waffle fries, corn bread & pickled trio of cucumbers, onions & cabbage.Kraut and what looks like pickled ginger (pink) with brisket downunder?

The sides are smoked meatballs wrapped in bacon and mac and cheese.
It was very good eating, but too much food for lunch for my wife and I. We were looking forward to pecan pie for dessert but were too full. So full that we also didn’t eat dinner.Eatin ' good donunda
Very nice.
Those sides look hefty. Patman would have ordered three full plates. Man gotta eat.
