What are you eating right now?

I had AMAZING butter chicken tonight from Niagara region’s best food truck. This was seriously in my top 3 of all time favorite butter chicken dishes (and I’ve tried many) View attachment 304134

Coincidentally, I made butter chicken last Sunday. Ate a large bowl and got a fiery delhi-belly on Monday. Too many spices, too much cream.

I'll be attacking the second bowl this evening, this time with some rice.

Fries turned out pretty good. My system if production was slow. I was heating the canola oil ( I will try something different next time as I dont care for it) in my dutch oven on the gas grill. I will make smaller cuts as well.

Had this.... just okay as its a TV dinner....6 minutes microwave. If you try it run it 6 minutes at 80% instead to keep it soft. My Irish mother made the best lasagna ever... her Italian in-laws wouldn't share recipes but in the end they were outclassed big time and late in life they admitted it... true story..

The picture is terrible but I really just wanted to eat this sandwich quickly because it’s so good!! It’s a chimney cake sandwich with turkey breast and cheese inside. The bread alone could be a meal, it’s so flavorful. Expensive ($17 with tax and tip, even with the “locals” discount) but worth it!

I agree! I hate when restaurants just put the fries in there for a 2-3 minute cook. They need to be “well done”
There is a youtube idio where two Brit clowns deep fry their "chips" (fries, like steak fries/small joe-joes) tons of times, over and over, chilling each time - I can't remember - many times, after 12? 15??? A bunch of times the flavor level evens out. Two times is even a compromise. 2X+

Nothing for dinner.
Kraut and what looks like pickled ginger (pink) with brisket downunder?
Yeah brisket is not common down here. It was served with waffle fries, corn bread & pickled trio of cucumbers, onions & cabbage.

The sides are smoked meatballs wrapped in bacon and mac and cheese.

Eatin ' good donunda

Very nice.

Those sides look hefty. Patman would have ordered three full plates. Man gotta eat.

I just ate a tablespoon of this butter to get my C15..... why?

C15 has actually been found to have a better safety profile and to have an additional 28 clinically relevant mechanisms when compared to omega-3...Great for liver health.
