What are you eating right now?

Hotel restaurant?

Who picked it apart?
Yes, five star hotel restuarant. Ordered same omelet three times prior. The last time, my error, I forgot to ask for the omlett to be well done. A severly undercooked, super runny omelet was served to me. I suspect the locals simply don't eat western foods, or western ways, except maybe fast food. They have no awareness of basic western food preperation.

Two nights ago I ordered a pricey chopped salad at a fine dining establisment. Darkly lit restaurant. Server asked if I wanted fresh ground pepper on the salad. I said sure. What the server put all over my salad was salt. I just ate the salad brimming in salt. Such is life....

Finished off the rest of the sausage gravy and biscuit casserole. She needs to make more of that stuff!
Best that I have ever eaten. And I still really don't know what makes it so special.

It had a slightly sweet taste, in a very delicious way. First guess, it was possibly made with Hawaiian dinner rolls,
instead of biscuits. So I called her. Nope, just cut up pieces of Pillsbury Grands biscuits. Said she made the gravy
with Jimmy Dean sausage. Does that have a sweet taste? Must have been that is my best guess. Said she added no
sugar or sweetener. Maybe I need to add some of that sausage to my grocery list.

Any thoughts on the sausage, from anyone who has fried up some?
