What are you eating right now?

Dinner tonight, and leftovers for tomorrow, is Summer Squash, Peppers, and Broken Spaghetti Soup cooked in a light, homemade chicken stock. There were a couple of squash in the fridge heading for retirement age, likewise a couple of small Bell peppers ... so, soup time. I added some Bionaturae organic whole wheat spaghetti broken into manageably-sized pieces and seasoned the dish with a couple of types of dried pepper flakes and a few turns of fresh ground white pepper. A simple meal for a couple-three days that came together in about 20 minutes.

The rich on holiday. Life is good!
These were actually middle of the road joints. We went to Nepali Brewery twice, The Taro burgers were great, made from taro grown right on the island, tasted pretty close to beef. We hit up an few other highly rated spots, didn’t spend more than $120 for 2 w/desert at the most, usually much less. There were more expensive restaurants but much advanced reservations were needed.

You may or may not be rich, but you do live a very lavish lifestyle. Out on the town numerous nights of the week, enjoying delicious meals prepared by wonderful people, in places everyone knows your name.

On the other hand, when it comes to beer choices, you often do live bottom shelf.

No the craft beers aren’t bottom shelf. If I drank Mickeys or colt 45 now that’s different story.
 
^^ I love a good steak but that one is overcooked for me. I like mine rare to medium rare at most. I send it back if it’s cooked medium or more at a restaurant (which thankfully doesn’t happen often)
