I cooked some boneless chicken thighs in a little olive oil, salt, grated roasted almonds and wild oregano. I spared you a picture because I had a little pasta on my plate - so didn't take a picture because the oregano was so good.............I mean I was embarrassed to show I ate pasta. I may need to beg forgiveness..........I did make a basic Polish salad.

Then later (shhhh.....) I had some homemade cherry pie filling on Mexican sour cream with shaved almonds.

I'll go cower now and then check my blood glucose 10 times.

Store bought dough, 🇮🇹 passata, oregano @Pablo and EVOO, 🇨🇦 local cup @ char pepperoni with mozzarella and mushrooms:

Why are most food stuffs EXCEPT passata more expensive in Canada? You guys get the good passata for like $US 2 cheaper. Odd that.
I'm not sure, maybe we don't have enough competition up here. Pasta, passata and EVOO have really shot up in price over the last several years, so I stock up when it's on sale. I have cases of things like pasta and EVOO. For example with today's lunch, my wife made two salads, a caprese, and a romaine with avocado and dried cranberry salad. As a result, we go through quite a bit of EVOO.
