What are you eating right now?

We would love to go out to eat it is hard to justify, when making these dishes at home are so easy, and none of the risk of going out to eat

Add in 20 percent plus gratuity, 10 per sales tax, and maybe the meal is not so good, just staying home and keeping it simple with good ingredients is my way of enjoyment of a meal.
This ⬆️ and it doesn't always have to be gourmet for us, because my wife can make some amazing dishes. If I go to Checkers and it's a disappointment, well it's only a few bucks down the drain. Today we were feeling hungry so we stopped at Publix. I went straight to the bakery dept. and grabbed one of those cuban loaves of bread for $2. Straight to the deli dept. for some freshly sliced Boar's Head (Citterio is better) mortadella ($4) after that, and we made sandwiches with the liftgate open of the CRV in the Publix parking lot.

Salad mom and I prepared while they are in town celebrating late Christmas with stepdads kids 😍

Bell peppers and radiahes. Hard to see as there are cherry tomatoes as well

Cooking what's left of these. Got them from Costco. The Costco packaging of this item is far superior to the ones I get from Shoprite. The strips are bigger and juicier whereas the ones from shoprite are always smaller and are dry when I cook them. Even the smaller pieces in the Costco bag are better too.

Best Western breakfast. Sad. Rubbery scrambled eggs with a little salsa, undercooked hash browns, bacon, and DIY waffles. Will have to track down a pasty for elevensies.

It's a little past 1400 and I got my pasties. One beef and potato and one ham and cheese and potato. Pictures in a few days. Headed into snowy terrain in a couple of hours. Will see how Miss Moneypenny behaves on slushy roads. There's also some snow.
