What are you eating right now?

Lunch: Brown rice and veggies ... heirloom tomato, carrot, celery, corn, green beans, peas, onion. A glass of slow-steeped, room-temperature, Keemun black tea on the side.

Yes, listed as honey yogurt. Must be a Alaska thing ...
Not necessarily. For more than two decades I've been using a yogurt-honey-vanilla dressing for fruit, usually as a dessert after a nice dinner.

The Greeks have numerous yogurt and honey recipes. A typical one is, and forgive me if my spelling is a bit off, yiaourti me meli - yogurt and honey - made with just a good quality Greek yogurt and good honey. Sometimes nuts and fruit are added.

There's a well-known Armenian recipe with yogurt (madzoon?), honey, fruit, and nuts, and often cinnamon.

These are just off the top of my head as they are uses of yogurt and honey with which I'm most familiar.

I found some Alaskan dishes to be antagonistic to my sensibilities. I was served cheese on halibut and salmon and I quickly learned to ask for my fish without cheese. Alaskan grilling and smoking using resinous woods was an eye-opener. Still, I loved every moment I spent in Alaska. I hope you're enjoying your time there.

Iceberg lettuce 🥬. I don’t eat any other lettuce can’t stand the taste of the leaf stuff lol.
Why am I not surprised that you will eat only the most nutritionally deficient green out there? 😛 What will happen if you eat spinach, kale, chard, beet greens, arugula, etc? Will your intestine unfurl and extract itself from your body in horror?

I will eat bags and bags of spinach lol. Nothing else on that list though except arugula lol. The greens I can do are iceberg lettuce, celery, cucumbers, cilantro, arugula and pickles if you count those lol. And okra and avocado if you count those. What is it people have against iceberg lettuce? I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone (at least that I know of) that prefers leaf lettuce over iceberg. Leaf lettuce taste like you just put a bunch of grass in your mouth lol.

All lettuce is pretty much useless. At least iceberg lettuce has a nice snap, I'll give you that but that's about it. What about endive, chicory, radicchio, escarole, and mustard greens? Cucumbers and pickles are gourds, avocados are fruit, and cilantro is an herb.

He’ll stroke out or heart will seize before butt cancer. That’s just my diagnosis

Iceberg lettuce was one of the earliest modified vegetables. It was engineered so it could be easily packed, shipped, and perishability .This design was at the very heavy tradeoff of flavor, taste, and nutrition.
