What are you eating right now?

A mix of feta cheese crumbles and mozzarella cheese..not very appealing. But I am.in Anchorage and know to keep my expectations very low.
Making me hungry for spaghetti now, GON. I never order that because it sucks. My homemade sauce is best! Have Daughter and Granddaughter both lessons on making it. The kid has it down pat. I rely on it now when she makes it. Need to light a fire under her and make a request. But yours still looks good. About like AM posting chicken pics and making me want that!

JD, asking this question for a friend (Pablo). Is the color of homemade pasta sauce in Western Iowa red or orange? And the friend wants to know if the inspiration for the homemade pasta sauce comes from a can with a label that says chef boyared?
 
Something tells me the Chinese food in western Iowa and the Chinese food in western Virginia may be very similar....
No idea, only Chinese i have ever eaten has been in Iowa.

Our local joint is run by a Chinese couple. Wife takes orders, husband cooks. They are the real deal. Can hardly understand them them talking.

Few days ago their Daughter post they want to retire and sell the place. Can only imagine it will go downhill from now if they sell.

That is great to know there are still small Chinese restaurants like that in the US. Many Chinese restaurants are simply reheating processed food made in aa commissary, often may states away from where the food is sold.

Enjoy that Chinese restaurant as often as you can!

My sauce is red, GON. Granddaughter watched me make it the first the first time and measured the goodies. Wrote the recipe down and now I follow it. Lot's easier than taste and season method I did before. I can PM you recipe if you want,
