I threw together dinner a few hours ago: grass-fed beef patties, the rest of the Greek-style eggplant, and salad. All on one plate - living like a troglodyte according to my wife.

Not now, but yesterday. Took the dog to the vet (Dublin, CA) for a follow-up check after his gall bladder was removed in April. His liver panel is normal now so we're all happy.

Anyway, we had some money left over (not really) so we stopped at Erik's Deli down the street from the vet hospital.

A mix of feta cheese crumbles and mozzarella cheese..not very appealing. But I am.in Anchorage and know to keep my expectations very low.

Had my grocery getter over this AM. Did all her usual stuff and I wanted some real food, instead of frozen crap. She cleaned the old neighbor ladies house after that.

Messaged her, if you go get Chinese food, I will buy. She jumped on that so I am still eating off that.

Something tells me the Chinese food in western Iowa and the Chinese food in western Virginia may be very similar....
