This is not something a top chef would advertise in his fancy restaurant. Picture the waiter coming out of the kitchen with this and placing it in front of you on that plate.
I would ask the waiter if there's a grayish/tan dog or cat brush on a shelf above the stove and the contents of the brush (gray/tan hair) landed on the plate, just prior to leaving the kitchen with this dish.
I come from a family of chefs (3) and I would bet my bottom dollar this plate would never win anything on any of those top chef TV shows - only because of that dog... even cat-hairy look.
Sorry Pablo..... just my opinion.
Now those chicken legs might win some kind of prize with all those bumps on the top of my tongue (taste buds).
They look well presented (individually) and I'm sure were delicious.
What is that below (what I think is) cornbread? Is that a decoration of the plate ... or is that some sort of seeded rice from a third world country.

Maybe if the topping was flatter with a little cheese spread over. Just something that doesn't remind the guest table of a clump of animal hair. Taste-wise?...... that could have been delicious tasting. But looks do matter and I'm not sure I would have photo-cropped that dish here. Looks nondelicious and that rubs some table of 6-8's the wrong way presented like that.
I'm not debating this anymore. Just an opinion and I listen to my three chefs at family gatherings all the time......
