Daughter took me to the drug store and mail pickup today. In return, they were doing yard work and batteries were down in their electric string trimmer. Gave them my near new Stihl trimmer. No problem because I hire mine done these days. Had the mind to give them an extra spool of string. Sure enough, ran out of string. She had to watch a Youtube video but got it restrung. That's my Daughter! LOL
It was noon and I was hungry. Local Mexican joint also has a food truck parked at the plaza, so we stopped there. Been a long time for me and forgot about the food. No longer cook, so I told them to get me two tacos in two containers. Flipped her $20 and she came back with a little pocket change. Said tacos got expensive and she said each container had three tacos, more than I expected. Her hubby is always at the gym and will eat most anything, so gave him one.
Ordered them with ground beef, onions, cheese and lettuce. Sure enough got home, no lettuce but loads of fresh cilantro. I like cilantro in sauces and the flavor, but fresh on a taco makes my fingers stink.
They joys of retirement and needing something to whine about!

Zero English spoken at this hamburger place..wanted a plain burger, but out came the stack..I know the trend is a wet sauced burger topped with all kinds of stuff. I am most happy with a simple burger, and the only thing I want leaking from a burger is it's natural juices. Had to do the scrape. The server will look at me crazy from scraping off all the add ons.

Sausage, scrambled eggs with cheese and toast with apple butter. Now momma is in a grumpy mood cause she had to cook so our day is going to be heck lol. I would have cooked but i wasn’t home and I could never get dads eggs the way he likes them which is practically raw. Luckily I had some of my bread left because all the store has was Natures Own and I can’t eat that. The eggs soaked right thru this plate lol. Mom pours tons of grease in the pan before doing the eggs lol. Not sure if that’s proper or not. We were going to have chipped beef but Stouffers got rid of the kind you cook in boiling water so dad refused to eat the microwave kind. We didn’t realize it when we bought it last night. Went back to the store this morning and that’s all they had lady working there said yeah people were complaining that you couldn’t fix it in the microwave easier so they got rid of it for this. A search online appears that is correct. One good thing about sausage is she can’t make my blood boil by cutting it in half lol
