Spiced Hamachi Roll
I was picking up a few things at the Japanese fish market, and whenever I stop by I pick up lunch. This was yesterday's lunch.

For the about the price of two Jimmy John subs with chips (not including wine)- ribeye steaks, fresh pasta with fresh herbs, and Caesar salad. Everything from Wal Mart except the wine. If one can handle smaller portion of meat and salad, enough to feed four people. we will have the second steak and pasta as leftovers for Tuesday night dinner. Wine from Costco- I can't recall the cost but I suspect in the $10 range.

As always, a super easy meal to cook. Only unique is on the steaks I dried them really good with paper towels, and then coat only the sides with olive oil and then season the sides with a hearty seasoning. The front and back of the steak just salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Five minutes each side on the grill. Then rest the steaks for five minutes.

While the steaks are resting, fresh pasta only two minutes in the boiling water, then into a fry pan with a little butter, olive oil, and the fresh herbs. The herbs where for Thanksgiving (Wednesday)- so I snatched a little for tonight. Had I planned better I would have used only fresh sage for the pasta. Ceasar salad was pre-packaged- I always search for the freshest dated package.

Under 30 minutes for this meal, at a price that can give Jimmy Johns are run for their money.
