Went apple picking yesterday. Made some apple pancakes today...
Nope, your parents are smart. However, colour does not always tell you if hamburgers are safe to eat. Cook ground beef until the thickest part is 160ºF.

Labor Day meal. Very easy to make and quite enjoyable.
Grain mustard crusted tenderloins with gorgonzola cheese. Four cheese perogies. Mixed vegetables.

Some rice I cooked in rice cooker other day along with 2 scrambled eggs and half avocado. I’ll have the other half for lunch with a apple

JD,That looks good, GON. You eat too well! In Iowa tonight it's frozen Stouffer's Lasagna from the microwave.
I love Stouffer's lasagna. My prep method is to over cook their lasagna, resulting in some caramelized, crispy parts.

Then got up and went for breakfast this AM with my date"
Two days worth of food in one. But I gained a new Son-in-law that is a great guy.
I'm 66 years old, my "date" is 37. Really sweet gal, but we are only friends. Worked together for years and trained her for my job. We are best friends now, nothing else. She had met most of my family, just not my Son. He was born deaf and has cerebral palsy on one side.
She has wanted to meet him for years. When the dancing started after the wedding, she went and grabbed him for a few dances. I have not seen that big of a smile on his face in years. Women normally are polite, but shun him. Great time had by all!
