Yeah me too. It was a godsend when they came locally as it was a big help when I took care of my terminally ill mother where I had only a short time to get things and get home... Mcdonald's too.

Same with one of the small coastal towns I frequent … it was convenience stores only before they built …

I don’t go to Dollar General lol. Lucky Charms and Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Cap’n Crunch with berries is the best cereals in my opinion.

I hated lucky charms. Dang charms gave me the styrofoam chills.

Oh yeah it does my dad. I thought you meant you was scared to eat or drink from styrofoam and I was going to say I do that everyday haha.

I normally leave town going east or south. Yesterday I left going north for the first time in 4 months … 18 miles later, boom … a new Dollar General up and running on the edge of a tiny town. These folks were 12 miles from the nearest Walmart or grocery store - so nice deal for them.
DG built around 1k stores in 2017 … not sure what the current pace is.

Made some Jambalaya last night using Zatarain's and some coarse smoked sausage, I hate smoked sausage rings that have the consistency of bologna like Hillshire Farms brand.

Haha the charms were the only part I liked. I'd always wished they made Lucky Charms with the charms only and left out the crunchy cardboard
