Neighbor just dropped off Italian sausage and orzo soup. (whatever that is)
Cookies too! A tin assortment she cooked this afternoon. I did sample a chocolate chip cookie. Yummy! :)
 
I just broke a 15 hour fast with my morning chocolate milk and coffee. I lost 1.7 pounds yesterday! So I take back what I said a few weeks ago about how my metabolism has slowed down because it can definitely work, I just needed to try something different. I am very close to my first goal of getting under 190 pounds. Today I weighed in at exactly 190.0! So in 8 days I have lost 5.9 pounds. I haven’t changed the type of food I eat, I just don’t snack as much now that my daily eating window is smaller

Seriously - wean yourself to putting cacao powder in your coffee with heavy cream, no sweeteners. You will really feel even better.

Yesterday was Pump class and Yoga class for me. New folks in there. NY resolutions and all. The new lady next to me in pump lasted about a minute. Warm-up with a band, she was struggling. I told her to lower the band, go slow. She did that. The teach (she being a drill sergeant of first degree) yells out, first we will warm up some more, PIKE then NEGATIVE PUSH-UPS. Lady squeaked or something. I told her she could like many of the gals, do this on her knees. POOF - she ran out the door. This lady left her class weights and room stuff in place (bad form) and just split. Well that resolution didn't hold. Hope she finds something. I didn't laugh or anything. Apparently my wife thought my story was funny. Yoga after was great, I held the yogi squat for the whole slow body assessment. Many people can't handle this pose because knee issues or hips, calves, I get this. I find it my best relaxation pose. Teacher of little emotion was impressed. Don't laugh. I feel better and am more flexible than when I was 33.

This AM, green and black tea brewed together, then my coffee ritual then 6:30A pickleball
 
Maybe we should start a new thread, "What are you NOT eating right now?"; only fasted for 13 hours today, and still no flour or sugar.

Tonight's dinner will be homemade Asian style sesame chicken served on a bed of vegetable fried rice.

Doing my first proper +16hr fast today since getting hospitalized in mid December. When I was in hospital I couldn’t eat for over 72hrs but that doesn’t really count as they had me hooked up to IV bags.
As someone who has been doing >16hr fasts nearly everyday for the past 7 years this non-fasting thing has been difficult.

Completely off-topic - What happened to the UAP thread, did it get completely deleted?
