Sorry for the formatting. Just copy to a note or word or whatever and clean up. I just copied and pasted from Milk Street. They have some good recipe but it costs money to join. I stole this when the wife did the $1 membership thing.

That said you know me, don't actually follow a recipe*, but should be good if you follow this one.

*recipes slow me down too much!
What cuts of meat is that? Looks like you did a good sear/char on them. Did you do that in a grill or on the stove? Looks like something I could do with a black iron pot. Betting it did not take long either. We dont do lots of red meat. If I do , I will usually sear it in seasonings and then take the pot off the stove and finish off in the oven.
 
Just had one of my easy favorite snacks that is easy on the gut. Sliced up Gala apple (chilled) with a spoon of smooth peanut butter
on the side. After eating that , it feels like I had a shot of B12 sometimes.

I made a chicken pot pie casserole for dinner. It was a C- effort. The chicken breast meat was kinda dry and tough as I over cooked it (I guess 165f is too high). The gravy and biscuit topping was meh, because I had to use wheat free flour substitute due to my daughter's wheat allergy and margarine instead of butter for her dairy allergy.
